Belinda Ephraim

Belinda Kǒkóèkà Bernadette Bassey Ephraim is Founding General Partner of TENSEUR Fund I and Managing Director of TENSEUR Capital Vector Collective. TENSEUR Fund I backs U.S.-based technical founders at the TRL 5 threshold.

The work did not begin in venture. It began in an entrepreneurial industrial household in Nigeria, where scientific and engineering leadership met foreign capital, a manufacturing plant, and distribution into West Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Prior to becoming an investor, that same stack (curiosity, science, infrastructure, capital, production, and markets) became the spine of her career as a systems thinker. Across SunTrust, Merrill Lynch Capital, Siemens, and Bank of America, covering diversified industrials and TMT, she advised on, underwrote, and financed more than $37 billion in industrial, infrastructure, and technology transaction value, including acquisition and leveraged-buyout work for Fortune 500 companies and upper-middle-market private equity sponsors, with $18 billion under ongoing portfolio-management responsibility. She later led commercial systems across a 13-property hospitality portfolio for institutional investors including DiamondRock Hospitality, driving year-over-year revenue growth of 30%+. With personal capital, she bootstrapped and built KOKOBÉRNA, a vertically integrated bioengineering skincare company using fermentation, skin-identical chemistry, and high-purity processes under quality systems informed by applicable FDA and EU guidelines and ISO manufacturing standards.

TENSEUR is the next expression of that through-line: a deep-tech, systems-oriented firm investing in the critical technologies that carry science into industry. The firm brings limited partners who understand industrial time into that work, alongside operator-investors and complementary non-dilutive capital. A builder, Belinda brings systems thinking, strategic finance, and access to the customers and partners that founding teams in frontier industrial technology need to reach the market.
